Blade Type
A Chinese cleaver, known as a Cai Dao, is a multipurpose kitchen knife traditional in Chinese cuisine. Characterized by its large, rectangular blade, it excels in chopping, slicing, and mincing. Despite its robust appearance, it's designed for precision tasks, from slicing meat to finely mincing herbs and vegetables.

Steel Type

Care Information
This knife is made with a stainless steel and is easy going and low on maintenance. It has high chromium content, meaning it is generally considered safe to leave wet on the board for short periods of time. is still best practice to not leave this knife to air dry as it's stain-less not stain-none! Wipe down after washing the knife and store away from any sources of moisture.

Introducing
CCK
Based in Hong Kong, Chan Chi Kee — or CCK — is a household name in the world of Chinese kitchen tools. Known for producing a wide range of high-performing utensils, CCK is especially celebrated for its line of Chinese cleavers — versatile, approachable, and a joy to use in both home and professional kitchens.
Favoured for their balance, affordability, and effortless slicing power, CCK cleavers shine when tackling large quantities of vegetables, boneless meats, and precise prep work. With their distinct profiles and utilitarian charm, they’re an ideal introduction to Chinese cutlery and a trusted staple for those who know and love the cleaver form.
Not too weighty, comfortable to hold, slices through most foods with great ease.
Amazing cleaver, I use it for almost everything now
Very sharp, easy and nice to handle.
Can't wait to get the carbon cleaver.
Thankyou!
Beautiful knife. Well crafted, feels great, super sharp out the box.
Definitely not as sharp as the carbon cleaver, I definitely prefer the carbon cleaver over the stainless. Just wanted to have both types of cleaver in my kitchen, but wasn't very sharp at all so I've had to give it some love on the stone.
Looks A1 for visuals.
