Wanchana crafts his blades in Thailand, using the tried and tested N695 Stainless Steel for his core steels. His grinds, fit and finish, and overall construction and performance are fantastic for the price point. These Boning Knives have a small amount of flex, rounded spines and choils and excellent fit and finish.
STEEL BREAKDOWN – N695 is a stainless steel produced by Bohler that’s used in many different types of survival knives and fixed blades. It is considered a softer steel in comparison to most other higher-end steels available. This is a comparable steel to VG-10, with N695 as an improved version of 440C.
