This SG2 Super Steel knife with a deep hammer finish has high levels of carbon, and stays sharp for a very long time. It’s a knife that should be on every knife owners wall. Yoshimi Kato makes his knives in Echizen, a historical area of the Fukui prefecture. He combines age-old tradition, modern exotic alloys, and creativity to produce works of art that are sought all over the world. His father began making knives in 1928, and since then the torch has been passed on to Yoshimi Kato himself as he strives to improve the quality of his hand-made knives day by day.
